Project Highlight: Disney Swan Reserve Hotel

Located in Orlando, Florida, the new Disney Hotel Swan Reserve is a 14-story hotel, positioned adjacent to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, features a captivating design offering 349 spacious and versatile guest rooms – including 151 suites – with incredible floor-to-ceiling views of the resort. Forefront was the specialty engineering company for the coldformed steel design for the entry canopy, the oculus at the entry, column wraps, balcony ceilings, outside facade feature, the 14th floor ballroom ceiling features (bowls), and the restaurant’s roof work.

Inspired by the theme of wellspring and referencing the Swan and Dolphin — both water creatures — the Swan Reserve greets guests with a rippling, glassy façade accented with panels of turquoise and shades of cyan. Offering shared spaces dynamically designed to transition from day to night, guests can enjoy the hospitality of the signature Mediterranean restaurant, relax in the cabanas by the pool, unwind at an elegant outdoor bar, or take in panoramic views from the rooftop event space. Taking cues from the adjacent resorts, the Swan Reserve has all the perks of proximity to the Disney experience while offering a serene respite for its amenity-seeking guests. – Gensler
